Standing Up For Your Rights

Public comment on new proposed rules from the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) is open from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15, said Tulsa medical marijuana attorney Stephen Cale.

The proposed rules come as laws from the 2022 legislative session have gone into effect, and the OMMA has become its own agency. Previously, the OMMA was a branch of the State Department of Health, Cale said.

How To Get A Copy Of The Proposed OMMA Rules

State law (Title 74 O.S. sec. 3106.4) requires agencies like the OMMA to post proposed regulations on their websites, Cale said. You can download a copy of the proposed OMMA rules (sometimes referred to as “regulations”) here.
